The HD8 Life CIC mission is simple: to celebrate everything that makes HD8 special, and to make sure everyone has access to the tools, connections, and confidence they need to share their story.
We believe that budget should never be a barrier to being seen or supported. That’s why much of what we do is free or affordable, helping local people, groups, and businesses to thrive together.

HD8 Life proudly supports and promotes businesses, makers, events and the community across the entire HD8 postcode area of West Yorkshire - and just beyond too!
Whether you're based in a village hub or a tucked-away gem, we're here to help you thrive and connect with the local community.
We cover the full HD8 area, including: Clayton West, Denby Dale, Emley, Fenay Bridge, Kirkburton, Lepton, Scissett, Shelley, Shepley, Skelmanthorpe, Birdsedge, Upper Denby, Lower Denby, Upper Cumberworth, Lower Cumberworth, High Flatts, Highburton, Emley Moor, and Thunderbridge.
We also cover neighbouring areas that closely border HD8, such as: Flockton, Flockton Moor, Grange Moor, Farnley Tyas, Stocksmoor, New Mill, Ingbirchworth, and Thurstonland.
