HD8 Life CIC is here to celebrate and amplify the brilliant local businesses, independent makers, creatives, community groups, and events that make the HD8 postcode area of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, such a unique and inspiring place to live, work, and explore.
Our mission is simple: to support and promote the HD8 community through creative, collaborative, and effective marketing that’s free or affordably priced for local people, local businesses, and grassroots projects.
Whether you’re based in Denby Dale, Skelmanthorpe, Kirkburton, Clayton West or one of the surrounding HD8 villages, HD8 Life CIC is here to connect you with your community and help your business grow.
We’re passionate about highlighting local talent, sharing stories, and making sure everyone in HD8 knows what’s happening right on their doorstep.
What started as a passion project on social media - spotlighting local businesses with fun, free reels and collaborations - is growing into something much bigger... Join us as we grow a stronger, more connected local community – one shoutout, event, and collaboration at a time.
We’re proud that HD8 Life is now officially a Community Interest Company (CIC) - a not-for-profit organisation with the community at its core. Every penny made is reinvested back into the CIC to support even more collaboration, promotion, and local development across HD8.
